Version of IE Addon

I'm chasing a ghost. The system I'm testing uses the x64 version of IE. I assume this because the file location of the IE executable is in C:\Program Files and not C:\Program Files (x86)

Having said that, I see that Ranorex includes both x86 and x64 versions of Ranorex.Libs.IeAddon3.dll.

I'm also assuming that there is a reason for the difference and if the version of IE that you're running is x64 then you should be using the same addon version?

Has anyone encountered any issues related to this?

I'm currently researching how to manually install the addon since the my attempts to install via the Ranorex Studio installer do not appear to be successful. i.e. When I run my test cases, Ranorex complains that the addon is not installed. Any help on this matter would also be appreciated.

Very interesting.... Are you able to confirm that your installation does include the IE addon? You can verify by going to the app wizard, clicking Ranorex Studio -> Change -> Change:
