Merging Key Sequence lines?

This does not seem possible, but if it is please tell me how.

When I record something and enter some text the recorder may enter a Key Sequence entry, but then add another one with some continuation text, and repeat. I end up with perhaps 4 or 5 Key Sequence in a row. I would like to select all of them and merge them into one sequence in the editor. Is that possible?

Merging key sequences in the Ranorex Recorder is not possible by a simple mouse click. You can only copy & paste them yourselves.

You can, however, tell the Ranorex Recorder that it should not split key sequences by setting the "Key sequence split time" in the "Recorder Defaults" tab page in the Recorder configuration (see http://www.ranorex.com/support/user-gui ... ation.html).
The downside of that method is that the higher the value for this parameter is the less accurate will the replay of individual key presses in the key sequences be regarding timing. This is because key presses inside a key sequence will be replayed equally distributed over the duration of the key sequence; i.e. if there are 10 key presses in a key sequence and the duration of the key sequence is 10 seconds, the Recorder will replay a key press every second.

Please consider that a feature request. :-)

I added a feature request for merging adjacent keyboard actions within the Recorder GUI.

Until this feature is implemented, please change the Recorder configuration as explained in my previous post, so keyboard actions won't be split.
