We decided to use a common repository for multiple testcases. So this repositoy grows quite fast an we organize it with folders.
To replace the repository item in a recording item, I have to select it from the combobox "Item Name". It is quite hard to select items from there, because the width of the dropdown is fixed and the sorting of the items quite confusing. Is there any plan to make that one easier? Replacing or adding the repository item by drag&drop would be great.

Hi,

Drag and Drop a repository item to the recording is available, but you cannot change the actions which should performed with this element after dropping the item to the recording. With Ranorex 3.0 this will be much easier, because if you drag and drop an item from repository to the recording, Ranorex will ask you which action should performed with this item.
