Hi,

We've just recieved our licenses and are wondering if we are able to install the Ranorex Licensing Server on a machine temporarily. Once we get our dedicated server install it on there, then uninstall it from the temp machine.

Are we able to activate the licenses twice? or will there be problems doing this?

Hello,

You may install your Ranorex License Server on a machine temporarily and switch back to your dedicated server. You would need to transfer your licenses to your new machine, though.
Please take a look at our User Guide for more information about Licensing.

Floating licenses can be tranferred once every 90 days.
Please note that you may need to contact our Support Team to transfer your licenses.
