Hello!

The menu item in the context menu in the Flex Web Cliend is grayed out and Enabled=false. While inspecting element with the Ranorex Spy, Enabled attribute is seen as true for this menu item. Why is it so?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello,

Can you send us a Ranorex snapshot file of that context menu?
The following link will show you how to generate a snapshot file: Creating Ranorex Snapshot Files.
This file will help us in analyzing the element.

In general the Enabled attribute should be also set to false when the it is set to false.
Are you sure the specific attribute is set to false, or could it be that the context menu is just grayed out?

Regards,
Markus

Hi!

Yes, menu item is grayed out so I expect that enable=false in this case...

Since the snapshot file is too big - I've sent it by email to support with the link to the forum.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for the snapshot!
From what I can see from the snapshot, the elements seem to be just grayed out. Could you ask your developer team if they are really disabled, by setting the attribute?
The other thing I noticed was that Chrome is not instrumented, so please instrument the Chrome browser by using the Instrumentation Wizard.

Thanks,
Markus
