Hi,

I want some advise for running Ranorex program on system without Ranorex installation. So following is my scenario:

I have ranorex installed on my Development PC and i develop program in it and compile it. Once the program is compiled and build, i want to take the exe in the Debug folder and copy it into another machine and run it over there. In order to do so what all do i require, dll's ? ranorex run time license?. Please advise. Thanks for your help!

Hi Singra,

It is recommend to have Ranorex installed on every machine Ranorex runs on, or where a Ranorex test exe gets executed. To run Ranorex tests you would need a runtime license on the machine where you execute the Ranorex tests.
Is there a reason why you don't want to just install the "Ranorex runtime components" on the machine where you want to run your tests?
There is no need to install all Ranorex components when you just want to run a test, but as I wrote it is recommended to have Ranorex installed on every machine where Ranorex is used.
