Hi Ranorex support team, its me again

Is it possible to get one rooted folder in another rooted folder, because i can't get spy to do this.

if it is not possible, do you plan to realise this?

Because it would be an advantage for big repositories.

Like, sometime i have in my repository one rooted folder and in it some normal folder and in the normal folder, some normal folder again, which is very useful for better overview, but in most of the cases the normal folder could be a rooted folder again because the first rxpath-part of all elements in the folder are the same, because it's structured like in the program.

thanks for your time! :)

greets from linz to graz

Actually, we had this feature in the 2.0 preview but removed it because people complained...
.. so, unfortunately, we dont have any plans of changing the repository structure.

In most cases its reasonable to create smaller repositories(e.g. one repository per dialog window if you have a large AUT). Also, if you are using Ranorex Studio, it usually pays off to further split up your tests into different projects.
