Any idea how to simulate online/offline situation on IPhone?

Hi,

Since I cannot record iPhone settings through Ranorex (due to Apple policy) I have no idea how to automatically turn OFF internet (airplace mode) and turn it back ON when needed. The purpose of this would be to simulate situation when users loose internet (validate alerts within app, offline mode behavior etc.).

I haven't found so far any iOS app that would simply have a switch for Internet ON/OFF.

Any ideas?

Thanks much!
Kreso

Hi Kreso,

Basically, all iOS applications are sandboxed and do only have access to the properties and data which Apple deems feasible to use within that sandbox. Therefore, I'm afraid changing system settings is not possible.

As you have already noticed, these limitations are related to Apple's security policy. There is unfortunately nothing we can do to achieve this intention.

Thank you for your understanding.

Sincerely,
