Hi Team,

Could you please answer the followling questions whether Ranorex Tool supports for the followling.

1)In My IOS and Andriod APP has Camera feature.it is not able to capture the Camera images which is saved.Please confirm whether is supports for Camera feature.

2)While recording my actions that time Camera is able to open However while taking the Picture and then i clicked the save button.It's not able to Record in action tables.Please confirm whether it supports for Camera feature.

Unfortunately Ranorex is just able to automate properly instrumented apps. Since the camera is handled in a device internal process we are currently not able to access it.

Could you please explain me whether the following features are supports by the Ranorex tool.

1)Contacts
2)Mail
3)Accelerometer
4)Maps
5)Barcode
6)Geolocations

We have our own APP developed by my company in that app have the above features. if i suppose to automate the our APP whether the Ranorex Tool supports??? .Please confirm

Hi vijaykumar,

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee support on any of the listed app since the majority seems to be system apps. As already mentioned we cannot automate the app if they are not properly instrumented which is not possible till now for system apps.
