Android > Lost connection when appending recordings

Hi,

Every time I want to record (at the end or "from here") in any module (not empty), I receive the "Lost connection" error and the recording stops.
I have to reconnect the device and try it again and again (numbers vary from 2 to 10 times) until it finally works and everything is recorded.

What am I missing?
I don't want to record in a empty module because I have to go through a lengthy initialization procedure when starting the app.

Ranorex Studio 5.2
Samsung GT-P5210
Android 4.2.2

Please help.

Am I the only one experiencing this :?:
Please find attached two adb log files. After saving the first file, I reproduced the scenario described above and then I saved the second file.

It's quite annoying. :? Not to mention that when I try to append to the current recording module with a visible drawer/error message/mobile android combo box drop down dialog it keeps disconnecting forever. Why?

Hi Lucian,

Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce this behavior with our RxBrowser.
May I ask you to try the same scenario with another application?
Please also let me know which connection you are using (WiFi/USB)?

I reproduced this issue today, on a different app.

I always use USB connection in Ranorex.

Hi Lucian,

Our development team is currently analyzing this issue. A fix for it should be released in one of our next versions.
Unfortunately I cannot give you an exact time frame when this fix will be released.

May I ask you to use WiFi as connection in the meantime?
