Hi,
I posted this problem a year before and unfortunately it is still seen.
Suddenly Ranorex chrome recognition lost totally (recognizes all page only), unistall extension reinstall does not help, pc restart is needed.

Ranorex version 5.4.5 You will say upgrade it but I have few pc I am get tired of updating browsers etc. so then Why suddenly recognition get lost is there an answer for that ?

I didn't experience such an issue until now. As you've already mentioned, the first troubleshooting step would be updating to the latest version of Ranorex Studio (7.0). This will be helpful to narrow down the cause of the issue. Please update Ranorex and Chrome to the latest version and check if you still experience the issue.
