Ranorex 7.0.1 NOT starting UP

Hello Team,

We have a win8.1 64bit machine. Earlier Ranorex 6.2.X was installed on that and it was working fine.

Then we upgrade it to 7.0.1 version and thereafter Ranorex Studio does not open up. Even when we start Ranorex Studio, no process runs in task manager.

We tried formatting the complete Windows desktop, still after windows installation on PC, Ranorex installation, Studio does not open up.

Please help us in this regards.

Hello Sunny,

I have seen this issue reported by one other customer and it was caused by a missing Windows update. Ensure all updates are installed, and try again.

If you continue experiencing issues, you may need to also reinstall Ranorex after all updates have been applied. Remember to restart your machine when it is requested by Windows during the update process.
