Agentluancher errors in eventlog before users connect on VM

We have the Ranorex agent installed on a Windows 2012 VM, the VM is started each morning then sits idle for an hour before any users login. However we are seeing errors in the windows eventlog every ten seconds stating:

"No active session found."

This appears straight after the entry:
Launching Ranorex Agent 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Ranorex\Agent\RanorexRemoteAgent.exe'...

The errors stop once a user logs into the server.

Please can anyone advise on how to resolve this problem.

Hello andymcadam,

Could you check what the "keep session connected" option is set to? In order to check this you need to open: C:\Program Files\Ranorex\Agent\Data\config.toml

Try setting this to "false" and see if the error still appears in the event viewer. However, now tests will not work if the machine gets locked during test execution.
