Hi moadipp,

First of all, 5.4.5.19886 is no longer supported and maintained. The current version is Ranorex 7.2.0, so please update to that version. Furthermore, the issue doesn't seem to be related to Ranorex at all. Unfortunately, one is not able to see the error message, but I would suggest just searching for the specific error message: http://www.google.com/ -> I'm sure that there are many entries about possible causes of the issue.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,

This issue is also encountered in the (newest) Version 7.2.1

I created a "customer"-ticket to let analyse and solve this.

Hi,

In my opinion, it's a pretty normal TFS warning, appearing in case a TFS company policy is not matched? I'm not using integrated TFS in Ranorex, but I'm getting a similar warning in Team Explorer always when I forgot to enter "code review" comment for some of our projects. Have you asked responsible people about company's TFS policies?

The workflow behavior in Ranorex with TFS (plugin) is:
Give a "comment" in the "first" appearance of the flow.
This comment is accepted by the flow and THEN the policy-issue appears.

I was told by TFS-guy that I have to complain this issue within Ranorex-part.

The rule expects only that a "comment" is given.
But you have to overwrite the second popup because of Violation.

This is not a Ranorex issue.

This issue has to do specifically with TFS and the MS TFS MSSCCI module. MSSCCI is notoriously problematic and slow. You should use the MS TFS stand-alone integration instead. If you continue to have issues then the problem is your TFS implementation. If you don't continue to have the issue, then the problem is the MSSCCI plugin. Ranorex just uses that plugin and has nothing to do with the problems you are experiencing.
