Run Wizard popup displayed for FireFox & Chrome after the ex

The "Run Wizard" popup is always displayed for FireFox and Chrome even though the extension has been added for both browsers. We have changed the browser version of FireFox to ESR 52.6.0 (64-bit). The version of Chrome is 64.0.3282.167 (Official Build) (64-bit). I assume that this could be affecting the performance in regards to capture & playback.

Hi,
I'm afraid, you forgot to mention Ranorex version? Also, have you checked if the extension is really installed and ENABLED in both browsers?

Are you able to provide two snapshots of
http://www.google.com, one for each browser? Are you able to provide me the installation order of Ranorex, and each browser? The needed IPC pipes are created during the installation of Ranorex.

You can check if these pipes exist by using a Microsoft CLI tool called pipelist (please know this is a 3rd party tool and we are not responsible for misuse):
