Hello,

I've just installed the trial version of Ranorex 9.0 and during the installation process I received a "Warning 1909. Could not create shortcut Ranorex 9 Studio.lnk. " message and after clicking OK the installation finished with no created shortcuts. However when trying to create a new solution through the wizard, no actual solution is created or when I try to access the samples from the studio they could not be found since the Ranorex folder with projects and samples is not created after installation under C:\user\user\Documents

The *.lnk file is only the shortcut for the *.exe of Ranorex Studio.
Maybe, you don't have the permissions to the directory to which this shortcut gets stored?
However, the reason why you don't find the Ranorex samples in your Documents folder is, that they are stored in the installation folder since Ranorex 9:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ranorex\Studio\Samples
