Hi Team,

Is it possible to convert RanoRex Repository file (.rxrep) file to xml format for my purpose.
I have saved Reposoitory as .xml from RanoRex Spy tool and opened in browser as xml format. I wanted to conform whether this is correct way to xml conversion.

Could you please help me in this regard?

Of course you can change the *.rxrep file to *.xml, but this will make no sense, because the *.rxrep file is already generated as XML language file.

Why you want to change the repository file to a XML file?

Hi,

Framework design purpose i wanted to auto populate the object logical names in the excel through macro using Repository file (in xml format) as input. This we have implemented for QTP repository file for framwork purpose, same we watned to implement for RanoRex repository file also.

Hi,

then just rename the *.rxrep file to *.xml and you can use it with your macro.
