Why does the 'Pause' key end the test, and the 'End' key pause the test?

This is very confusing, as it seems backwards

Is there any way I could change the hotkeys? I would like the Pause key to Pause the test, and the End key to End the test

Hi,

I believe it's like that from the "historical" reasons? The test pause have been implemented only recently and instead of assigning it to "Pause" key, which step may have confused old users, Ranorex folks most probably decided to create a new shortcut for it? But I agree with you that it's completely illogical and I too would prefer to see the pause action assigned to Pause key and test termination to End. Thanks to the current implementation, I'm still forgetting that there is now an option to pause the test and I'm still terminating it instead

Anyway, it would be best to have the shortcuts (all of them) user configurable. But I think it would be a huge task, since the SharpDevelop 4.x, on which is Ranorex based on, does not support this as well?

Hi,

You can simply change it in the "Program.cs" file.
In the screenshot you can see what you have to change to do so.
