Moving Licenses to a new License Server

I am currently in the process of migrating the Ranorex License Server from old hardware to a new server in my organisation and need to move the licenses across. Unfortunately the firewalls prevent these servers from seeing out to the internet and accessing the Ranorex License Authentication Server in order to perform the uninstallation. I have therefore sent an email to [email protected] with the manual uninstall details as the process is described here (https://www.ranorex.com/help/v9.0/ranor ... leshooting).

This email was sent last Friday morning (13/11/2020) and I have yet to receive any response. I have tried chasing it up but I just get auto replies complaining that "No valid case identifier found" despite the case id being in the subject exactly as it asks.

This is only the first of a number of licenses I need to transfer, this being the test to ensure the testing clients can see the new License Server before moving all of them. I am concerned that moving all the licenses across is going to be a lot of effort. Ranorex used to be a really responsive company and the last time I did this a few years ago I had responses within a day. Now I know the situation is a bit more complicated right now but nearly a solid week just to get a license that I own uninstalled so I can migrate it to a new server is a bit much.

Can anyone help chase this up and get the process moving so I can get this one license moved and tested before needing to move the other 5?

I'm afraid, I can't comment the response time of Ranorex support. But in case of licenses, I would suggest to try contact Ranorex folks via this email: [email protected]
