Hello everyone!!

I am in a fix. I need to run queries on a database that is on another machine on the network, that I access through a remote desktop connection or a remote desktop organizer. When I try do the same by launching the application RDO it does not recognize separate elements in the RDO.

My question is how can I run these queries otherwise? How can I remote into those machines and access the sequel server on them to run the queries?

Thank you all in advance?

You cannot use Ranorex to control a remote system through RDP. Ranorex must be installed on the remote system in order for it to work there, and the tests must be run on the remote system, not your local system.

If you gave us some more information about your environment and technical limitations it might help.

For instance, why can you not just install the DB front-end on your local system and connect to the DB server from there? Is there a firewall issue? If you can RDP into the system, why can't you remotely connect to the DB server?
