Please provide more information about your issue. Without detailed information it will be very difficult to help. In addition, please answer the following questions:

What version of Ranorex are you using?

What version and level (Home, Pro, Enterprise, Server, etc.) of Windows are you using?

What technology platform is your system under test developed in?

Can Ranorex Spy identify any other applications or elements in Windows?

Hi,

Below are the Answer for your Questions.

What version of Ranorex are you using?

Ranorex 5.1

What version and level (Home, Pro, Enterprise, Server, etc.) of Windows are you using?

Windows 7

What technology platform is your system under test developed in?

Our application is Delphi ,but i checked for web based applications also same issue.

One observation is when we use short cut key (ctr+windows key ) it's capturing all the controls in AUT.
Can Ranorex Spy identify any other applications or elements in Windows?
I am using ranorex scince 2010 .I never faced this problem previously .one week back I replace my laptop

with Lenovo Ultrabook touch screen with windows 7 OS.

Thank,
Manohar

Hello Manohar,

Unfortunately, it’s hard to reproduce your issue since we do not have the possibility to install Ranorex on a Lenovo Ultrabook touch. That aside, it’s highly unlikely that your issue is related to specific (hardware)series or computer label.

I would suggest doing a clean re-install of Ranorex. Therefore, please do following steps:
  • • Completely uninstall Ranorex.
    • Reboot your machine
    • Install the latest version of Ranorex using the “Setup.exe” (not *.msi).
If the issue still persists, please contact [email protected].

Thank you.

Regards,
Robert
