Key Sequences are not capturing during recording

Hi,
We installed latest version of Ranorex 5.4.5.19XXXX which is licensed. We observed some abnormal behavior during recording. Some time it doesn't record key sequence actions at all, some time few actions missed while others recorded and on few occasions it records all key sequence actions.
User having this issue accessing Ranorex machine(VMWare machine) via RDP from her laptop HP ProBook450 and obviously using her laptop keyboard to perform key board actions.
We tried same version on different machine (Hyper-V and VMWare) to verify if this issue is related to platform but we are unable to reproduce it(Accessing VM machines through a different laptop using this laptop keyboard or an external keyboard).
What could be the possible reason for this problem?
Could it be specific to hardware, in this case our laptop HP ProBook450?
After installation, we didn't made any configuration changes regarding Ranorex as user just started to use it.
Any help would be highly appreciated.......!
Regards,
Zahid
