connect agent to virtual machine on remote desktop

Out of the three computers that I have, 1 contains the license manager, 1 contains the test suite I'm tryin to run, and another contains a virtual machine with the OS that I want to run it on. The virtual machine can ping the other two computers so it's aware of the other two computers, but it can't connect to the license manager when I try to access it through the ranorex agent. It can also recognize th3e license manager through the licensing app. How can I make sure that the agent on the virtual machine takes in the license and is aware of the test suite from the other computer?
