License manager issue

Hello,

Recently I have faced an issue, because of which I can no longer use Ranorex. Somehow i couldn’t enter the Ranorex Studio application, it said that the port was not open to the server. It was resolved, but then I somehow removed license key, and now when I want to add it again, I can’t do it. The edit field in License Manager is inactive. I have also contacted Raonorex support, they suggested to check if RanorexLicenseService is running, and it is stopped, but won't run after I set it to. Also tried delete the “LicenseManager.sdf” file as suggested, but that didn't work aswell.

Hi,

which version of the license manager do you use? There was a bug in the license manager 6.0. Try to install the latest version (6.1.0).

If this doesn't work check the Ranorex license manager service. Maybe the reason for that is a permission issue.
