I am trying to attach an excel file to the test case and even though the "Include File in Test Suite" option has a check mark, the file doesn't get included. I was able to do it in the last version but when I moved to 3.3.3 I am not able anymore. Help please.

Did you already take a look at your project and output folder, isn't there the specific file?
Can you see the file if you expand the test suite item in the projects view?

I did check the project folder and I didn't see the file there. I check the \bin\Debug folder and it is not there either. I expand the test suite and it is not there.

Have you assigned your data source to a test case?
The excel file is included as soon as you use it in a test case.

The attached screenshot shows how to use a data source ‘ExcelConnector’ in a test case ‘TC_AddEntry’.
In order to use variables you need to bind variables in the tab ‘Data Binding’.

Yes I am using the data in the test case. and when I run the test case, it takes the information from the spreadsheet as expected.

Thank you. I have got everything.
I was able to reproduce this issue.

I had to change the path to the data source and could include the Excel file into the project folder.

Please check if your data source is in the expected folder.
Please try to re-assign the correct Excel file to your data source in the ‘Manage Data Sources’ tab,

If it is still not working please re-install Ranorex with the ‘setup.exe’ file.
