I just installed Ranorex 4.0 on Win7, when using viewspy i don't see red marked on object that I usually seen on XP, Thank you

Could you please give us more information about your issue? Is Ranorex not able to recognize some objects in Windows 7 which can be recognized in Windows XP?
Could you please try to update Ranorex to 4.0.1 and check if the behavior still exists?
Could you please send us a snapshot file from your XP machine and one of your Windows 7 machine?

this is only happenned when i do use DameWare on win7, otherwise it works as expected

i am using DameWare Mini Remote Control Application , version 6.9.0.4 , connecting from xp machine to win7 , then using view spy on win7 machine , i get the xpath working but not able to see the red rectangle when i point to the object

I cannot find a trail version of DameWare with your version. I downloaded the trail version 8.0.0 and connected from a Windows XP machine to a Window 7 machine. I opened Ranorex Spy and tracked some elements. After that I highlighted these elements and everything worked as expected. The red rectangle appeared around each element.
Sorry, but I am not able to reproduce your issue.
It seems to be an issue with this special version of DameWare.
