BUG: EXCEL data connector

BACKGROUND: Due to the way I use the data connectors, I load data from a variablized SQL query into the connector at run-time (partly due to the simplicity of the included SQL data connector - we really need the ability to pass test parameters into the Ranorex data connectors for filtering...) and have several data tables in my set that are single-column with no data until I load them in a code module at run-time.

PROBLEM: The EXCEL data connector does not read worksheets with only 1 column if that column has only a column heading and no data in it. This means that I have no way to bind variables in Ranorex to these data connectors, which is a very serious issue for us.

Steps:
1. Create an Excel data connector using the attached file, sheet 1.
2. Add the connector as a data source to a test case.
3. Connector should show "TEST" as a data column, it does not.
4. In the excel file, add a data row to the "TEST" column and save.
5. Refresh the data connector in Ranorex.
6. The column and data are now shown in the connector.
7. Delete the data from the excel file.
8. Refresh the data connector in Ranorex.
9. The column is again NOT visible.

Hello,

Unfortunately, this is a known issue if you only have one single cell in your data source.
Our development team is currently working on a fix for our next version.

Thank you for your understanding.
