Hey,
I was getting to know ranorex via the sample project and started with the Vip Database lesson. I do everystep exactly as said in your video but once the recorder starts my mouse is stuck and I can only move a tiny red ball around, though not far. And I cant continue with the lesson.

I tried restarting Ranorex and my pc.

Can you help me?

Using Ranorex 5.1.1.18898
.Net Runtime: 4.0.30319.18444
on Windows 7 x64 + SP1

As I use two screens to work with, I thought maybe thats an issue with the detection. After I disabled one screen the problem still persisted

I could identify the issue. It seems that the touchscreen from my laptop (Lifebook T901) takes over as prime control input once recorder is strted. I tried disabling the touchscreen via windows and via the drivers, but nothing is working.

Just to keep you up-to-date; We are currently in contact with p.Diem by email to analyze the issue in more detail.

I'll update this posting as soon as we were able to resolve this issue.

This problem was solved by disabling asynchonous dispatching in the global settings menu.
