Hi,

I am using trail version
Ranorex 5.3.2.23378
.NET Runtime version - 4.0.30319.34219

Ranorex used for: Flex web dashboards

IE 9 - not detecting login page contents. only few components are detecting.
Firefox 38.0.5 - All components get detected only for the first time, but just rerun the same test case wont work. On next record only few components get detected
Chrome 42 - crashes on opening browser through ranorex.

The ranorex plugins and flash debugger are installed for all 3 using install wizard. The manual settings are also completed. But none of them are helping to detect the all components.

1 month back, the components were getting detected without any issues. The chorme and firefox were older versions though. Even installation of old versions of browsers is of no help now. So can anybody help me out.

First of all, if you were able to identify the flash/flex objects once on a specific browser, you should be able to recognize the elements on each browser (assuming that the installation and instrumentation of the flash player was done correctly).

It would be helpful if you could create a Ranorex snapshot file of each browser. Detailed information on how to create a snapshot can be found here: Snapshot

As for Chrome 42, there is currently an issue with the flash debug player. Further information can be found here: Chrome 42 flash issue
