Execution not stopping if the script fails in between

We are using Ranorex 5.4.1, when executing sequence of scripts through a batch file and if object not available at one state execution is not stopping.

When we were using 5.3 version if the object is not available execution stops there and next script will be triggered.

And also observing IE crash very frequently with 5.4.1 Ranorex(we are working on silver light application) version and execution stuck there.

Any idea why these issues are occurring in 5.4.1 version particularly..

Thanks.

Hello bchandusy,

May I ask to describe the issue in more detail?
It would be great if you could upload a compressed Ranorex Report of the corresponding test execution.

Concerning the crash of IE
May I ask which version of IE you currently use?
Unfortunately, there is a bug in Ranorex 5.4.1, which causes IE8 to crash.
That issue can be solved by updating to the latest version of Ranorex, 5.4.3.
More information about this version can be found in the release notes.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,
Johannes
