Hi,

I updated Ranorex on the 3rd of November (version 5.4.3) around noon on a machine which launch a scenario every 10 minutes. It uses Firefox. Thus I updated Firefox to the latest version: 41.0.2
It allows us to be "harmonized" with our customers.
Our website use Google Analytics (GA) and we have a account specially for our Ranorex machine.

When I take a look on the stats, on the 3rd we had half visits, and since the 4th of November, there is not anymore visit at all.

I was wondering why we have this and just realized that I updated Rx on this particular day!
Therefore I guess there might be a problem with the new plugin for Firefox.
If I open our website using Chrome, the visit appear on GA.
When I take a look in the source code, I can see the GA tag.

I encountered another problem (private browsing) and used a workaround for now.

I hope you will be able to help me.
I will try to reinstall a oldest version of Firefox (under 40).

Hello,

I did some research on the issue and it seems that Firefox added a new feature with the name Do Not Track.
Finally, the new feature blocks things data services such as Google Analytics, or programs from Google and other companies that collect data about the people who visit these sites. No other browser goes to these lengths to stop user tracking.

More information can be found at the official Mozilla Website.

Thanks for your help Johannes.

Finally I updated Ranorex to 5.4.4 to use again the 'private browsing' automatically through about:config
Using the private browsing option solved the issue: now Google Analytics tag works...

It is really weird.
Anyway, it works :)
