Hello guys,
I install a VM in my host computer. My question is:
if I install Ranorex Studio in host computer and install the AUT, which will be tested, in VMWare, can I identify the UI elements of this AUT ?
Best regards
Rika
UI identification with VM Ware
Re: UI identification with VM Ware
Hi,
In order for Ranorex to properly identify UI elements it needs to be installed and running on the same machine as the AUT. If Ranorex is installed on the local machine and the AUT is presented through VMWare then all Ranorex will identify is the VMWare application. The view to the target machine will only be seen as an image.
Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Mike
