Hi There,
Let me explain our setup so you can advise.
We have 1 x machine with a node locked licence (lets call machine X).
We have 1 x runtime licence.
We wish to run ranorex scripts on a seperate machine (lets call machine Y).
We develop scripts on machine X
So far so good.
In order to use the floating licence we need to install licence manager.
Can we install licence manager on machine Y, or does it have to be installed on machine X where scripts are generated?
Where does licence manager get installed?
Re: Where does licence manager get installed?
Hi,
You can install Rx license manager on any computer you wish. Just make sure the machine 'Y' is able to connect to that computer and that the computer with license manager is always ON
