Workaround to support statically linked Qt applications.

Post by [email protected] » Wed Jun 08, 2016 9:40 pm

Hi ,

We are considering Ranorex for our desktop application which is developed using Qt framework.
One of the Ranorex support document reads "only dynamically linked Qt applications are supported".

Is there any workaround to support statically linked Qt applications. ???
We could as well go with dynamically linked Qt application but our first preference would be building statically linked Qt application.

Please get back with details.
Thank you.!

Regards,
Aditya

Hi,

As of now, there is most probably no way (not even workaround) to work with statically linked QT apps in Ranorex. Please see this post:
