%X TS result placeholder returns incorrect result

Post by odklizec » Tue Feb 16, 2016 10:29 am

Hi folks,

It seems I found a bug in 5.4.5 regarding %X TS result placeholder. It always returns 'Success' in case of compressed report generated from command line. I'm using command line like this:

Code: Select all

test.exe /zr /zrf:c:/path/to/report/test_%Y%M%D_%T_%X.rxzlog
Additionally, I found that if there is not defined extension for /rf: command, Ranorex automatically adds rxlog extension (OK). However, the %X placeholder is not resolved (date time placeholders are resolved OK) and what's worse, there is also missing .rxlog.data file, which renders the report file useless.

Code: Select all

test.exe /rf:c:/path/to/report/test_%Y%M%D_%T_%X
result:
test_20160216_102112_.rxlog - %X placholder is not resolved and there is missing rxlog.data file

Hi Pavel,

Thank you for reporting the issues.

I have successfully reproduced them on our machines. We will add them to our internal bug-tracking system and try to fix them as soon as possible.

Sincerely,
Robert

I'm happy to confirm the problem seems to be fixed in 6.0. Thanks!
