Hello,
when using the XCOPY Deployment http://www.ranorex.com/support/user-gui ... yment.html to run tests without Ranorex installation, I'm wondering how the IE addon would be available on the target System Under Test, that is the system on which the tests will be run without Ranorex installation.
Kind regards,
Andreas

Re: XCOPY Deployment issue: IE addon not installed
Hello Andreas,
In general the IE add-on from Ranorex is more or less a performance add-on. The elements can be found without the add-on with the same RanoreXPath as well, but a little slower.
In order to load the add-on manually you have to export the registry keys from a machine where Ranorex is currently installed, edit the path in the exported files and import the registry key on the machine where you want to run the test.
The question is if this would help you much.
Regards,
Bernhard
