Directly from Ranorex Studio, you can deploy your tests to remote machines for ⇢ test execution with Ranorex Remote. This enables you to execute your tests in parallel in different test environments – such as different operating systems, system configurations or versions of systems under test. During remote test execution, the ⇢ Remote Pad keeps you updated on the test performance, while you can continue using your local machine. Once the test has been executed, you’ll receive a ⇢ notification that the report is ready. Ranorex Remote uses ⇢ Ranorex Agents, which can be ⇢ installed on either physical or virtual machines in your network. Directly from Ranorex Studio, you can deploy tests for remote test execution to these agents using the Remote Pad.
To execute a test, Agents need a Ranorex runtime. You can either include the runtime in your tests by enabling ⇢ Copy runtime to output in Settings (recommended) or you can install the runtime on all machines you want to execute tests on.
