Remote system requirements
The machine you want to run a test via Agent on must fulfill the ⇢ system requirements of the respective Ranorex version you’re using.
However, in terms of software requirements, you only need to make sure your target system has a Ranorex runtime and the required .NET Framework installed.
You can either include the runtime in your tests by enabling ⇢ Copy runtime to output in Settings (recommended) or you can install the runtime on all machines you want to execute tests on.
If you’re deploying a data-driven test with an Excel data connector and don’t have or want to use an Excel license on the target machine, refer to
Ranorex Agent Firewall Configuration
On a system running a Ranorex Agent, the firewall must be configured to allow access to TCP port 8081 and UDP ports 10000-10001.
