Source control & revision control
A source control system, also called revision control (RCS), or version control system (VCS), keeps track of changes to a file, or a set of files. Thus it is possible not only to track changes but also to keep the initiator of the changes. It allows reverting single files, or an entire project to a defined previous state and comparing changes over time. It provides an easy way to recover previous versions of a file, or project. Ranorex supports the integration of three version control systems. The integration of those is explained in detail herein.
