Python and Ranorex Webtestit: An absolutely charming couple
Python and PyUnit/Unittest Framework support have slithered their way into Ranorex Webtestit.
You have chosen the world’s most versatile language, that always has batteries included. Now take Python to the next level with the IDE that has a turbocharger included.
Let Ranorex Webtestit make your Python test project setup even easier with automatic driver download functionality. Ranorex Webtestit is the best place for snake case with built-in best practices such as Page Object pattern. Problems generating reports for Python tests are now a thing of the past, Ranorex Webtestit creates report folders that include results, screenshots, XML file, and more. The addition of Python compliments our two existing programming languages, Java and TypeScript.
Robust and reliable CSS selectors
Get greater choice in the selectors Ranorex Selocity produces, and automatically sends to Ranorex Webtestit.
Using the Ranorex Selocity extension, you can create robust and stable selectors, and send them directly to Ranorex Webtestit. XPath, link-text selectors, and now a second CSS selector can be generated. When sending the CSS selector from the browser’s context menu, Ranorex Selocity will automatically send the best selector.
The improved built-in dialog lets you import your TestRail test cases, execute them, and export them back all in a few clicks. Any available test steps will be formatted and shown as comments in the test file. Navigate to TestRail using the “Jump to test case in TestRail” button.
Create bugs from within your reports and Ranorex Webtestit will provide Jira with screenshots of test failures, details of the test environment, and a full error message with stack-trace available in the report is transferred into the Jira issue.
