Ranorex and Idera

We have some very exciting news to share with you: On October 23, 2017, Ranorex joined the IDERA, Inc. family of companies. By joining with IDERA, we are well positioned to strengthen our existing Ranorex products while building even more powerful test automation solutions for the future.

What is Idera?

IDERA, Inc. is the parent company of global B2B software productivity brands whose solutions enable technical users to do more with less, faster. IDERA, Inc. brands span three divisions – Database Tools, Developer Tools, and Test Management Tools – with products that are evangelized by millions of community members and more than 50,000 customers worldwide, including some of the world’s largest healthcare, financial services, retail, and technology companies.

How will I benefit from this partnership?

Because Ranorex is now part of IDERA’s Test Management Tools group, we will be able to leverage their extensive knowledge and expertise in the testing industry as well as deep understanding of the testing market. For example, the popular test case management software TestRail by Gurock is also part of the IDERA family.

“Automated testing is an integral part of many modern testing organizations, and Ranorex is a clear leader in that space,” said Wilson Warmack, general manager of Gurock. “Their low-code approach to supporting teams with different skills sets and responsibilities, combined with TestRail’s robust test case management and reporting capabilities, provides a well-rounded toolset that increases software quality testing accuracy and return on investment.”

What is going to happen to Ranorex products and services?

Absolutely nothing at all. Everything with Ranorex products and services will stay exactly the same. We’ll just be in an even stronger position to provide you with outstanding customer support and valuable new test automation features.

If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to contact your sales representative. We will be happy to address any of your questions!
